The re-imaginings of posters for Christopher Nolan's Batman series are dark, brooding, and ominous. A perfect blend for the films they each represent. Kudos to illustrator Michael Rogers for a job well done.

Everyday Things That Speak the Truth
These cute illustrations by graphic designer David Olenick may seem sweet and innocent at first glance, but they only speak the truth... which is at times a bit blunt. I especially like the ones with a hint of dark undertones in juxtaposition with these smiling, big-eyes creatures.

Biodegradable Utensils
Graft is a set of biodegradable utensils that take on the textures and colors of vegetables. Chinese designer Qiyun Deng makes Graft from a renewable resource-based bioplastic. The result is quite beautiful.
Cork Animals
Korean designers, conte bleu, have created these cool little cork displayers that are meant to act as memorials to special events. They even include an area on the animal's "shadow" to write down the date and occasion. Very clever.
